Young boy drowns in Lambton pool

Netcare 911 paramedics received a call for assistance at 12.20pm today after a boy was pulled from a swimming pool, in Lambton.

Upon their arrival at the scene, paramedics from the provincial services were already busy with resuscitation on the little boy. Netcare 911 paramedics immediately started assisting with the resuscitation.

After almost an hour of resuscitation, the boy displayed positive signs to the resuscitation and was immediately rushed to hospital for the urgent medical care he required but sadly passed away shortly after arrival at the hospital.

Exact details surrounding the cause of the incident and the preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
