Local pizza outlet robbed

Local eatery robbed by armed man.

The Germiston SAPS are investigating a case of business robbery after Pizza Perfect was robbed on Thursday evening.

WO André de Jager, the communications officer for the Germiston police, told the GCN that the incident occurred at about 8.45pm, at the business in Webber Road, Lambton.

“It is alleged that one suspect entered the business and pointed a gun at the staff.

“He demanded money from the supervisor and R400 cash was handed over,” de Jager said.

“He also hit the supervisor before fleeing the scene.”

No arrests have been made yet.
