Relatives urged to collect corpses from hospital

The senior admin officer at Bertha Gxowa Hospital, Cyprian Msimango, recently contacted the GCN about unclaimed corpses at the hospital’s mortuary.

“Unclaimed corpses have piled up at the hospital with nobody coming to claim them,” said Msimango.

“We urge family members and friends to come forward and claim their loved one’s corpse as pauper burials will be arranged should the corpse remain unclaimed.”
