Donations welcomed by those displaced by Xenophobia

The babies are most in need at the moment - says Tamarin Biddulph-Smith.

“People have enough clothes and blankets, but no donation will be turned away,” said Tamarin Biddulph-Smith in an update to the GCN.

Tamarin has joined forces with the Primrose Methodist Church and is hoping to help the people displaced by xenophobic attacks.

“The babies are most in need at the moment,” she continued.

The community is urged to donate baby clothes, baby food, non-perishable foods and baby toiletries, including nappies (in various sizes), soap, towels, toilet paper and wet wipes, etc.

Donations can be dropped off at either the Primrose Methodist Church, 28 Poppy Road, Primrose, or at the Bearded Woman Tattoo Parlour, 117 Langermann Drive, Kensington South.

“Please continue to spread the word, let’s unite and stop xenophobia,” concluded Tamarin.
