In case you missed them these were the top stories of the week.

The top three stories on www.germistoncitynews.co.za for the week April 11 to 17 were:

1. Satawu Gauteng secretary gunned down in Germiston:

The Gauteng secretary of Satawu (SA Transport and Allied Workers Union), Chris Nkosi, was shot and killed in Germiston on Monday, April 13, at about 6.30pm.

2. Stage two load shedding implemented for Wednesday:

Eskom warned that the power system is constrained and vulnerable and any unexpected changes could lead to a change in the load shedding stage at short notice.

3. President honours Hani:

The life and legacy of Chris Hani was celebrated at his gravesite, last Friday. Hani is buried in the Thomas Titus Nkobi Memorial Park, in Elspark.
