The Katlehong police recently arrested a 19-year-old man for the alleged rape of a 27-year-old woman.
The accused was arrested shortly after the victim opened a case at the Katlehong Police Station.
The woman claims she was at a tavern in Vosloorus Extension 20, where she met her attacker.
He asked her to accompany him on his walk home, and not suspecting anything, she agreed.
When they arrived at his home, the man allegedly grabbed her and dragged her into the house where he forcefully raped her.
Using the description given by the victim, the man was traced and arrested, and will appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court soon.
