Siblings begin to rebuild their lives

On December 11, the Motaung family, from Katlehong, suffered a terrible blow when Teboho Motaung’s shack was destroyed in a fire.

Teboho, who is on a disability grant, and his sister Thandaza were left with nothing after the blaze and, despite numerous attempts by the pair to find help, were left homeless.

The Vusa Umuntu Community Service has since begun repairs to the pairs home with paint donated by  Mario Dos Santos and Cutains by Zelda Dlodlo.

But there is still a long way to go for the siblings to rebuild their lives.
