More members needed to help fight crime

Local sector CPF holds successful AGM.

The Lambton Klip Sector Four CPF held a successful AGM, last Thursday.

During the election process, chairman Renee Germishuizen was unanimously re-elected along with her entire committee.

The committee has thus remained the same, apart from the vice-chairman position, as Rodger Jones who held this seat has moved away from the area.

The new vice-chairman is Pine Pienaar.

Pienaar thanked the community for turning up in their numbers to vote and for showing trust in Germishuizen and her committee.

“Lambton Klip Sector Four CPF pledges its commitment to the community to do their utmost to be part of crime prevention,” said Pienaar.

“There have been a few bad incidents in the area and we plead with the community to become a part of this unit, as more numbers mean more eyes keeping watch.

“Crime is part of us and we need to eradicate that. We also request people to come forward with some ideas and share their thoughts in this regard.”
