Siblings’ home lost in fire

Disabled man of Katlehong left with nothing after fire.

On December 11, the Motaung family, from Katlehong, suffered a terrible blow when Teboho Motaung’s shack was destroyed in a fire.

The fire was started by an angry and jealous man who poured petrol into the building before setting it alight.

Teboho, who is on a disability grant, and his sister Thandaza were left with nothing after the blaze and, despite numerous attempts by the pair to find help, were left homeless.

The Vusa Umuntu Community Service has become involved in their plight and is appealing to the community to assist in any way they can.
