Primrose Police and the Primrose CPF recently visited Rest-a-While Community Centre for the Aged, as part of an awareness campaign.
Station commander Col Mduduzi Khuzwayo, accompanied by CPF chairman Jan Lodewyk, spoke to the senior citizens about being aware of criminal activities and also offered them a number of safety tips.
Members of Primrose Crime Prevention Youth Desk entertained the group with a play, which incorporated the tips Khuzwayo had mentioned.
“We will keep on fighting crime so that our citizens will stay in a safe environment,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose Police.
