Primrose police nab 61 suspects

Hard work leads to the arrest of 61 people.

During the week of February 9 to 15, the Primrose SAPS arrested 61 suspects, for the following offences:

  • Possession of drugs: 5
  • Theft: 3
  • Assault GBH: 6
  • Domestic Violence: 1
  • Warrant of arrest: 1
  • Possession of stolen property: 1
  • Drunk and disorderly: 2
  • Housebreaking and theft: 1
  • Murder: 1
  • Drinking and driving: 4
  • Interfering with police duties: 2
  • Fraud: 1
  • Impersonating a police official: 1
  • Dealing in liquor without a licence: 2
  • Attempted robbery: 1
  • Enticing/soliciting for the purpose of sexual immorality: 1
  • Illegal immigrants: 29

The Primrose SAPS station commander Col Mduduzi Khuzwayo thanked everyone who contributed to these successes.

Khuzwayo has declared war against all crime in Primrose.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court and their cases were postponed for various reasons.

The illegal immigrants will be sent to Lindela for deportation.
