The metro is informing residents and businesses in Germiston of a planned water supply interruption, scheduled for Friday, February 27, from 6am to 6pm.
The water supply interruption is due to maintenance work to be carried out on a bulk Rand Water line that supplies water to the Primrose reservoir.
The affected areas are: Germiston East Industrial, Lambton, Elsburg, Germiston CBD and Wadeville.
Residents are encouraged to store water for domestic purposes and ensure that all taps are properly closed in the event water is restored before the expected time.
The municipality apologises for any inconvenience to be caused.
