Children from Pitter Patter learn vital safety tips

Mr ADT teaches children about safety issues.

The GCN recently joined the children of Pitter Patter Academy for an interactive safety show, run by ADT Security.

The Baddies and Buddies show was presented by entertainer Darin McDowall and focused on:q bullying;

McDowall also spoke about personal safety, including children not putting pills or anything else in their mouths without asking their parents first, dangers in the kitchen, electricity safety – not touching or pulling plugs, not playing with fire, matches, lighters or candles, the danger of playing with guns, how to behave around dogs and home invasion – what to do if a stranger comes into your house.

“Children are never too young to be educated and made aware, in a non-threatening manner, of the dangers that exist in our society,” said McDowall.
