A 31-year-old man was arrested by the Family Violence Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS) recently.
The man was charged with the rape of his ex-girlfriend.
It was alleged that the man broke into the victim’s Makause informal settlement home, where he pushed her into a bedroom, ripped off her clothes and forced himself on her.
The man was found with the help of a description given by the victim and arrested.
“The Primrose police strongly condemn this type of behaviour and will continue to assist the FCS,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose Police .
