It’s a dog’s life

Local agility club has a barking good time.

It was fun all the way, last Saturday, when members of the Dynamic Agility Academy tested their skills against one another.

The club held its annual function and awards ceremony at Hoërskool Vryburger High, where they train.

Dogs and owners were put through their paces in various activities and a great time was had by all who attended.

After all the taxing field work it was time to have a relaxing lunch, after which awards were presented to members of the club.

The awards were as follows:

During the course of the event an auction was also held, to raise money for Paws R Us, in Midrand.

A wheelbarrow sponsored by Alberton Hardware containing dog food sponsored by Hills, dog treats sponsored by Pro-Pet, wine sponsored by the Mundell family and biltong and dry wors sponsored by Primrose Hill Butchery was auctioned.

A total of R6 400 was raised for the chosen charity.
