Three men arrested for vehicle theft

Men attempted to sell stolen vehicle

Members of the Primrose Police recently arrested three men, aged between 18 and 29 years old, for the possession of a stolen vehicle.

The arrests were made when a member of the local community visited the Primrose Police Station to report that three men had attempted to sell him a vehicle at a very low price.

He explained he was suspicious and wanted officers to check the car and make sure that the vehicle was not stolen before purchasing it.

Officers tested the vehicles registration and found that the vehicle had been stolen from Reiger Park earlier this month.

With the help of the man, officers were able to lure the suspects out into the open, where they were arrested.

The men will appear in the Germiston Magistrates Court.
