Local school shines

Great results for local school.

The School of Achievement achieved 100 per cent pass rate in the 2014 National Senior Certificate examinations.

There were 57 matric pupils and the group obtained 18 distinctions.

The school’s top student was Ruan Myburgh with seven distinctions.

At the announcement of the results on January 7, Ruan received the award for the best Lsen pupil in the province.

He was also the top student in mathematical literacy (among all pupils in the province who wrote the subject).

The School of Achievement received the award for the best Lsen school in Gauteng.

Principal Tinus Du Preez said, “The school is extremely proud of its pupils’ achievements.”
