Man nabbed with stolen vehicle

Police catch man with a suspected stolen vehicle.

The Primrose police with the help of members of the Germiston Flying Squad recently arrested a 25-year-old suspect for possession of a stolen vehicle.

The drama started in Brackendowns, Alberton when patrolling police were approached by a tracking company who were tracking a car that had been stolen in Boksburg.

The police officers spotted a vehicle which matched the description they had been given and they approached it.

Realising that the police were approaching him the driver of the vehicle sped off towards the highway and the police gave chase.

They chased the driver to Primrose.

The driver of the vehicle then had an accident and he was arrested by members of the Primrose police.

He appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court and the matter was postponed for plea and trial.
