Man found with suspected vehicle/house-breaking implements

Man arrested while police were on patrol in crime hot spot.

Members of the Primrose police recently arrested a 20-year-old man for the possession of suspected vehicle and house-breaking implements.

The man was arrested last Tuesday, at the corner of Cactus and St Joseph roads, in Sunnyridge.

The arrest was made while police were patrolling in the Primrose Sector Two area, which is a known hot spot for house-breaking and vehicle theft.

During the patrol they received information from a local CPF member that they had caught a man.

The police rushed to the address given, where they found the accused with the CPF member.

The man was found with a pair of bolt cutters and a navigator.

He was arrested and taken to the Primrose Police Station.

He will appear in the Germiston Magistrates Court soon.
