Members of the Primrose police recently arrested a 22-year-old man for dealing in drugs.
The man who was arrested on the corner of Rietfontein and Primrose roads was charged with dealing in drugs.
The arrest was made when officers, on a routine patrol of the area, noticed the man on the corner of Rietfontein and Primrose roads acting suspiciously.
The officers watched the man from a distance and saw him approaching a bakkie before returning to his original position.
“They approached him, introduced themselves and asked to search him,” explained Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police. .
“In his possession they found drugs, and arrested him.”
The man was taken to Primrose Police Station for detention, pending his court appearance.
