EMPD to host freeway prayer session ahead of the festive season

EMPD calls on people to pray for safety on the roads this festive season.

Apart from pleasurable festivities, the festive season is also branded by a high number of fatal road accidents that claim the lives of millions and in some instances leave others seriously injured with disabilities.

It is against this backdrop that the EMPD will host a Festive Season Prayer Session tomorrow (November 20).

Various denominations and faith based organisations have been invited to join hands in prayer against the high rate of accidents and for a reduction of fatalities on the roads.

The Freeway Festive Season Prayer Session will take place at 10am at the Brackenhurst Hall, Hennie Alberts Street, Alberton.
