With the rainy weather set to stay the South African Weather Service has this morning issued a warning of extreme weather conditions throughout the province.
The community is once again urged to take precautions when travelling and be sure their vehicles and animals have appropriate shelter.
The warnings include:
- Severe Thunderstorms:
Severe thunderstorm with possible large hail and damaging winds have been predicted with special focus over the extreme south parts of Gauteng (with special focus on the north of Tshwane moving eastwards towards Moloto and KwaMhlanga area).
- Heavy rain:
Heavy rain (>50mm) is expected in parts of the province from 1am to 11pm today.
