Two nabbed in separate drug-related busts in Leondale

EMPD nab alleged dagga dealers.

Community members played their role when a tip-off they provided led to two suspected dagga dealers being apprehended.

They were arrested, last Tuesday, at two different addresses in Leondale, within 30 minutes of each other.

The first suspect, aged 27, was busted at around 5pm, with dagga to the value of R300, and the second, who is 24 years old, was apprehended at about 5.25pm, with dagga worth approximately R200, on the streets.

Charges of possession of and dealing in dagga were laid against the two male suspects at the Alberton Police Station.

The men were expected to face those charges at the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.
