Primrose resident Theo van der Merwe is asking the community to be kind.
A resident of the area for almost 30 years, Theo wants to embark on a random act of kindness towards the Ithembelihle Lsen School, in Primrose East, and he wants everyone to get involved.
Theo told the GCN that the school has a soft spot in his heart as he has a cousin who suffers from cerebral palsy.
“I want the community to become aware of this school, as they need as much love and support as they can get,” he said.
To this end, Theo is asking community members to bring non-perishable items of food to the school on September 6, between 9am and 1pm.
The school is situated at the corner of Cyprus and Elm streets, in Primrose East.
