Two nabbed for assault GBH

Primrose police arrested two suspects for Assault GBH.

Primrose police recently arrested two suspects, aged 21 and 23, for assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, in the Makause informal settlement.

This took place after a complainant laid a charge.

The man alleged that he had visited his brother’s shack, to ask him to accommodate his friend for a night. On arrival he called out to his brother, which was when a neighbour said he was making a noise.

The victim went to the window and shook his sleeping brother until he woke up.

The victim’s brother was upset and argued with the victim for using the window.

The neighbour, who had previously complained about noise, heard that the two were arguing and brought an object with which the two assaulted the victim.

The complainant sustained injuries to his upper body.

The suspects were traced and arrested and appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court, where the matter was postponed for trial.
