Attend a SARS workshop and learn the ins and outs of doing your taxes

The South African Revenue Service (Sars) would like to invite all interested parties to a series of free tax education sessions.

The training sessions will be held at the Edenvale Sars branch, at the corner of Hendrik Potgieter and Van Riebeeck streets, Edenvale.

The sessions are as follows:

•  Value-Added-Tax (VAT) Basic – July 24 from 9am to 11am.

•  Value-Added-Tax (VAT) Intermediate – July 31 from 9am to 11am.

•  Provisional Tax – August 7 from 9am to 11am.

•  eFiling (individuals) – August 14 from 9am to 11am.

•  Small business corporation – August 21 from 9am to 11am.

•  Income Tax (intermediate) – August 28 from 9am to 11am.

• PAYE: Bi-annual reconciliation – September 4 from 9am to 11am.

•  e@syfile employer – September 11 from 9am to 11am.

•  Provisional Tax – September 18 from 9am to 11am.

•  eFiling (individuals) – September 25 from 9am to 11am.
