By-election registration weekend

The national and provincial elections that took place on May 7 have resulted in a number of changes on the political front, including the election of local councillor Michele Clarke to the provincial legislature.

For this reason a by-election will be held in Ward 20 on July 2, to replace her.

Registration for this by-election, of voters who are residents of Ward 20, will take place this coming weekend, Saturday, May 31, and Sunday, June 1.

Residents can register from 7am to 5pm at the following venues:

•  Primrose Hill Primary School;

•  Wychwood Primary School;

•  Bedfordview High School;

•  Bedfordview City Hall;

•  Bedfordview Scouts Hall;

•  Cornerstone Church.
