Employees steal diesel from company’s truck

Employees caught red handed.

The Elsburg SAPS recently open a case against five suspects, believed to be responsible for the theft of a company’s diesel.

The owner of the company, which is located in Rendell Street, in Wadeville, reported that the men, employees of the company, were seen on the CCTV cameras, draining diesel from one of the company’s trucks.

The five suspects, aged 22, 32, 33, 44 and 55, were arrested and detained at the Elsburg Police Station.

When they were questioned about the incident, they denied any involvement.

During the investigation it was found that the stolen diesel was valued at R22 125.
