Tips to prevent rape

The Elsburg SAPS has issued the following tips to women to help prevent rape:

• Girls are warned not to go around late at night.

• They must avoid the company of men they don’t know.

• If they have to walk in the streets, they must walk where there are lights.

• They must avoid walking alone at night.

• They must avoid walking in dark passages.

• They must always scream for help if attacked.

• They must avoid deserted areas where they are no people.
