Fifty-three year old Mjigigelwa Samuel Mbatha has gone missing. His family are appealing to anyone with any information to come forward.

Mbatha, reported missing by his cousin, has not been heard from or seen since October 2013.

Mbatha was last seen at the Pretoria Railway Station on Friday, October 11.

He was expected to catch a train from there to Germiston where he lived, as he did every day.

Since that afternoon there has been no trace of him.

Family and colleagues have searched for him but with no information they have had no success.

“The family has noted that since the day of his disappearance, there has been no money withdrawn from his bank account,” said WO Andre de Jager, spokesperson for the Germiston police.

Mbatha is described as being short and slender.

Anyone with information can contact Promise Mbatha on 078 486 0553 or Lieut-Col Andy Pieke on 011 871-5037.

Alternately the National Missing Persons Bureau can also be contacted on 08600 10111.
