Three youngsters arrested for housebreaking and theft

Primrose Police nab three suspects for housebreaking and theft.

Primrose police arrested three 18-year-olds, for housebreaking and theft, in Boekenhout Road, Marlands.

“Our police were patrolling when they noticed the three youngsters standing near the house, which had been broken into, at the beginning of the month,” said the communication officer for the Primrose SAPS, Sgt Styles Maome.

“The police stopped to search them and one of them was so scared that our police became suspicious.

“They interrogated them and the scared suspect revealed that they were about to break into the house again.

“He further informed the police that it was his first time, while the other two were returning for the second time, to the same address.

“On previous occasions they stole two laptops, two Ipads and three cellphones worth R67 000.

“Our police followed the leads and one of the cellphones stolen was recovered,” said Maome.

“The management of the station would like to thank our members for a job well done; the suspects will appear in the Germiston Magistrates Court.”
