Number of assault cases continues to increase

The Primrose police continue to receive reports of an alarming number of assault cases. This man, being watched by Const Grandish Makgabo, has been charged with assault GBH, in the Delport informal settlement.

The Primrose SAPS continue to deal with an alarming number of assault cases.

This was made clear with the arrest of a 45-year-old man, recently.

The arrest was made following a report by the victim of an assault GBH, claiming he had been at home when a friend suddenly appeared at his house.

He told his friend he was about to go to sleep, and asked the man to leave.

He refused.

When the man tried to push his friend out of his home, his friend became angry and began to beat him.

Officers immediately began to search for the suspect and were able to track him down and arrest him.
