Five men found with housebreaking implements

Five men arrested.

Five men were recently arrested by the Primrose police.

The suspects, aged between 20 and 25, were arrested when officers found housebreaking implements in their possession during a routine patrol in Alarm Street.

They spotted a white Ford bakkie parked in front of a house.

Four men were sitting in the vehicle, while another man knocked on the house’s gate.

The officers decided to investigate, as Alarm Street falls into the Primrose police’s high risk area.

They asked the men what they were doing and when they could not give a clear explanation of why they were there, the officers decided to search their vehicle.

During the search the police found a crowbar and a selection of other implements that could be used during a housebreaking.

The five men were arrested and appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court, where the case was postponed for further investigation.
