Police get drugs off the streets

Police arrest three people with suspected drugs.

Members of the Germiston SAPS recently arrested three men on charges of possession of suspected drugs.

The first arrest took place when officers noticed the driver of a Toyota Tazz driving slowly around Dinwiddie.

They followed the car and saw the driver stop and meet another vehicle.

However, the two drivers noticed the police and drove off.

The police officers pursued and stopped the driver of the Toyota Tazz and while conducting a search they discovered 11 packets of a white substance that looked like “KAT”.

“The 37-year-old man was arrested and charged with possession of suspected drugs by Reservist-Sgt Roger Ingram and Const Sevren Crawford,” said WO AndrĂ© de Jager, spokesman for the Germiston SAPS.
