Two men were recently arrested by the Primrose police.
The men, aged 18 and 40, were charged with business robbery and theft.
The arrest was made after an employee of the Barbara Road business reported the incident to police.
“The complainant alleged that he was visiting friends close to his place of work and while there he saw the two suspects entering the company.
“Knowing that the company is closed for Christmas he became suspicious and call someone to go and check with him,” explained Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
When they arrived at the company they found both suspects pushing a trolley containing two pressure plates and a number of washing machine drums.
The complainant phoned his manager and the police.
Officers rushed to the scene where they arrested the two men.
