Help find young man

A young man has gone missing.

Lesego More (19) was reported missing by his mother, Maggie Moshoeshoe, at the Germiston Police Station, on October 1.

Moshoeshoe told the police her son was last seen by a friend, in Katlehong, on September 28.

The young man, who lives in Pharo Park, in the Germiston CBD, had gone to visit his friend on the afternoon of September 28, in Nhlapo Section, Katlehong.

He had apparently stayed there for the night and left at about 6am the following morning, to travel to Soweto by train.

His grandmother, whom he frequently visited, there said he did not arrive on the day.

Since then his cellphone has been switched off and there is no trace of him.

Moshoeshoe, assisted by friends and family, has gone to hospitals and mortuaries, and distributed posters, but no new information has been forthcoming.

More attended Isipho Sethu Special School, in Marimba Gardens, Vosloorus.

He and a friend had also been selling goods, for the past two months, in the vicinity of Mochachos, in Nhlapo Section, and at a nearby tavern.

He is described as slender and about 1.9m tall.

He has contact lenses and likes to wear sunglasses.

He has a tattoo written in Chinese on his left arm.

When he went missing, More was wearing brown jeans and a red jacket.

He also always carried a bag with the word “scorpion” written on it.

Anyone with information can contact Moshoeshoe on 083 346 1158, or Lieut-Col Andy Pieke, from the Germiston SAPS, on 011 871-5037.
