Germiston police arrest men for theft.

Germiston police arrested two men, aged 30 and 33, on charges of theft, recently.

The arrests were made after the Germiston SAPS received a report from a man claiming the two suspects had held him up at knife point and taken R130 from him.

“The victim reported that, after the robbery, his brother had chased the suspects to the nearby Golden Walk Shopping Centre, where members of the mall’s security staff were able to apprehend them,” said WO André de Jager, communications officer for the Germiston SAPS.

The Germiston SAPS were called to the scene, where the officers arrested the two men.

They were detained at the Germiston Police Station pending their appearance in the Germiston Magistrates Court.
