Primrose police nab two for suspected stolen goods

Two nabbed for suspected stolen goods.

Primrose Police arrested two suspects, aged 33 and 40, for possession of suspected stolen goods.

“Our police were patrolling when they saw two males, in dark clothing, carrying something black in colour at around 3am,” said the communication officer for the Primrose SAPS, Sgt Styles Maome.

When the suspects saw the police vehicle approaching them they dropped what they were carrying.

The police stopped them and found that they were carrying a boat motto.

“The suspects ran in different directions, our police gave chase and called for back-up from other sectors, and the suspects were arrested and brought to the Primrose Police Station for detention,” said Maome.

The men appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court and the case was postponed for plea and trial.
