This year’s Best Female Project at the Eskom Expo Ekurhuleni regional finals, the “Carbon Eater”, was created by Grade 11 learner Nyeleti Mashele from Sir Pierre Van Ryneveld High School in Kempton Park.
On a mission to save the earth from possible asteroids, Alyssa Morgan and Kirsty Small, from Solid Foundations Primary School, presented their Near Earth Asteroids project to the GCN last Saturday at the Eskom Expo.
Tshepiso Maroga, science communicator from Sci-Enza Centre at the University of Pretoria (UP), showcased fun science experiments to blow your mind at the Eskom Expo last Saturday.
An “Electric Wireless Controlled Excavator”, a project by Nhlanhla Makofane, earned the Grade 10 learner from Phulong Secondary School in KwaThema the Best Development Project award at the Eskom Expo Ekurhuleni regional finals last Saturday.
Tackling societal issues such as the health implications of consuming junk food or healthy food was a learner from Dan Radebe Primary School, Kamohelo Motaung, who was thrilled to have been a part of this year’s Eskom Expo Ekurhuleni regional finals.
