Great fun at the Rand Airshow Aviation fans excited by spectacular aerobatic feats. The Antonov AN2 thrilled the crowd. The Douglas DC3 took to the skies to the great excitement of spectators at the Rand Airshow, on Sunday. Having a great day out at the Rand Airshow on Sunday were Ryan Engelbrecht (5, back, left), Deakan Aspeling (5), Gabriella Engelbrecht (2, front, left) and Scarlett Aspeling (2). The Flying Lions, sponsored by the Puma Energy Company, were a huge hit at the Rand Airshow which was held at Rand Airport on Sunday. The Antonov AN2 thrilled the crowd. The L39 Albatross Formation Aerobatics were greatly appreciated by the crowd. Robert and Natalie Borland were enjoying all the sights and sounds of the airshow. An excited Oliver Foxall (1) had his own airplane to play with. The Air Scout fraternity of Gauteng came together on Sunday and built a wooden aircraft for the Rand Airshow. It took them two-and-a-half hours to assemble it. Some 85 Air Scouts, including the Lambton Air Scouts, attended the airshow..
