The community flocked to the Thursday Club’s mushroom cooking demonstration at the NG Cachet Church hall in Primrose, recently. Ina Paarman representative Honey Ho Tim cooked up a storm creating a delicious, tasty Highveld Mushrooms dish while Sylvia Godsil from Highveld Mushrooms gave an informative talk about mushrooms and how they are grown.
Three of the Thursday Club’s oldest members Rosemary Johnson, Olga Koekemoer and Margaret Hodgkiss enjoyed themselves at the club’s mushroom cooking demonstration, recently. The club meets once a month at the NG Cachet Church hall, in Thistle Street, Primrose.
Sylvia Godsil from Highveld Mushrooms talks the audience through the growing of mushrooms by the company. The talk was extremely informative.
Colleen van Rensburg and Martie Botes, who have been members of the Thursday Club for many years, were ready to learn how to make a delicious meal with mushrooms as the hero.
Alice van Niekerk and Elmarie Pieters from the Thursday Club made sure everyone in attendance was served a cup of tea or coffee.
