Hoërskool Goudrif wins inter-high athletics, 14 years in a row
Hoërskool Goudrif victorious at inter-high athletics.
Even though it was a tough athletics season for Hoërskool Goudrif’s athletics team, Rosemarie Franzsen, the school’s athletics organiser, said the school found its way to victory in the recent 2019 inter-high athletics competition.
“Given that all our friendly meetings were interrupted due to rain, we are very proud that our school won the inter-high athletics for the 14th consecutive time,” said Franzsen.

Thirty-three athletes from the school were chosen to represent the Germiston region at the Greater Germiston athletics event, after which 27 athletes were then further called to participate in the D6 Championships.
“We are also very grateful to have prepared six Gouties to participate in the Gauteng Championships next weekend,” said Franzsen.
