A woman’s screams for help remained unanswered as her ex-boyfriend dragged her to a secluded area, where he allegedly raped her.
The victim went to the Primrose Police Station to open a case against the man, against whom she has a protection order, after the recent incident.
“She explained that she had been at her home when her ex-boyfriend arrived.
“She claims that he began to assault her and threatened to kill her,” explained Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
The accused allegedly dragged the victim to the Simmer and Jack disposal site, in Johan Rissik Street, where, she claims, he ordered her to undress and raped her, without protection.
Using the description given by the victim, officers were able to track down the 42-year-old man.
He was arrested on charges of contempt of court, kidnapping and rape.
He will appear in the Germiston Magistrates Court, soon.
