Get involved in the Ahgie Festival/Fees

Local school set to hold fund-raising festival.

After the huge success of the Ahgie Festival/Fees, last year, Afrikaanse Hoërskool Germiston’s fund-raising committee has decided to host the event again.

The event will help raise much-needed funds for the school.

Donations, vouchers and prizes for the day are needed to make the event a success and the school appeals to the community and local businesses to get on board and donate.

The Ahgie Fees is set to take place on August 1, at the school in Webber Road, Lambton.

There will be something for everyone on the day, including flea market stalls, a tea garden, food stalls, the caves of horror, veteran cars, motorbikes, a talent competition (vocal and dancing), a Mr and Miss Body/Butterfly competition, soccer, tombola, entertainment for toddlers, secondhand book stall and a dog show, to name a few.

A nominal entrance fee will be charged, as well as a fee for parking – VIP parking costs extra.

To donate something for the day, to book a stall or for more information contact the school on 011 827-2524/5, fax to 086 630 8231 or email to ahgies@absamail.co.za.
