The Primrose police recently arrested a 32-year-old man for the theft of a motor vehicle.
The arrest was made after the owner of the vehicle opened a case at the Primrose Police Station.
He explained to officers that he had parked the vehicle at a petrol station, in Rietfontein Road, Primrose, and, after checking that the vehicle was locked, he left it.
When he returned after work the vehicle was gone.
Officers followed several leads and were able to trace and arrest the accused.
