Bryan Desmond van der Merwe (21), went missing on May 5 and his mother exhausted every avenue looking for him. Bryan left his Rhodes Avenue, Parkhill Gardens home at about 4.45am, to go to work in Benoni, and never arrived. Bryan was later found.

Belinda Theunissen (24) has gone missing. The young woman from Dorandia, in Pretoria North, was last seen by her family, at her home, on April 30, and later spotted in Primrose on the morning of May 4. Theunissen has long, straight, dark brown hair and brown eyes, she is about 1.63m tall and weighs about 85kg.

A Parkhill Gardens family was tied up in their home and the house was ransacked, last Monday evening. The incident took place in Cachet Road at about 5.30pm. “It is alleged that a suspect gained entry to the house and surprised the homeowner while he was in the bath,” said WO André de Jager, communications officer for the Germiston SAPS.

The Germiston SAPS are investigating a case of business robbery after Pizza Perfect was robbed on Thursday evening. WO André de Jager, the communications officer for the Germiston police, told the GCN that the incident occurred at about 8.45pm, at the business in Webber Road, Lambton.
