This silver VW Polo was involved in an accident in Sunnyridge, on Tuesday.
A community member, Gerrit van der Merwe, sent photos of an accident that happened at the intersection of School Avenue and Weert Road, Sunnyridge, on Tuesday morning.
The EMPD confirmed that the accident occurred at about 8.35am.
A red Toyota Corolla and a silver VW Polo were involved in the collision.
Thabiso Makgato, from the EMPD, told the GCN that it is alleged that the driver of the Polo did not yield at the yield sign where the driver of the Corolla had right of way, and this resulted in the collision.
The drivers were not injured and the cars were towed away due to damage caused to both of them.
