Woman returns from holiday to find she’s been robbed

Land lord breaks into tenant’s home.

A 38-year-old man was recently arrested by the Primrose police on charges of housebreaking and theft.

This was after his tenant laid a formal charge against him at the Primrose Police Station.She claimed that she had been in Kwazulu-Natal for the weekend and that, when she returned, she was told by a man whom she had asked to house sit, that the landlord had broken into her home.

Upon inspection she found that six pairs of shoes and three blankets had been taken from her room.

“The goods taken have an estimated value of R2 000,” said communications officer for the Primrose police, Sgt Styles Maome.

Officers arrested the landlord, who will appear in the Germiston Magistrates Court soon.
