The metro is calling on all stakeholders to participate in the process of ward delimitation, as required by the Municipal Demarcation Board (MDB).
Following a meeting between the MDB and the Electoral Commission, a resolution was adopted to delimit the municipality into wards.
With local government elections fast approaching in 2016, boundaries ought to be set for wards in Boksburg, Germiston, Alberton and Edenvale.
The ward delimitation process will take the form of public participation meetings.
The Germiston meeting will take place on March 6 (Friday), at 6pm, in the Germiston City Hall, in President Street, Germiston CBD.
