First home executives’ course held at local store
Local store hosts successful training course.
Hirsch’s Meadowdale came alive with the sound of fun when home executives from Germiston, and members of the AFM Church, visited the store to take part in the Home Executive’s Course, on Wednesday.
The “yummy mommies” were tutored by Brigitte Thysse, public relations and marketing officer for Hirsch’s Boksburg and Hirsch’s Meadowdale.
“The course was originally for domestic workers, but because of the great response received from home executives in the Germiston area, I changed the angle of the course,” Thysse said.
“They are the ones who clean their homes, so we showed them the utilisation of household cleaning products, such as stainless steel, electronic, glass top, gas and granite cleaners to name a few.
“We also showed them how to effectively utilise their dishwashers, washing machines, fridges and chest freezers in order to keep them well maintained.
“We assisted them with the dos and don’ts of effective cleaning using their household appliances.”
Thysse added that the course was extremely successful.
